A personalized diet plan is created for you, based on you age, gender, blood type, body weight, and activity level.
A customized liquid herbal tonic can be created for you, or perhaps you prefer to drink medicinal teas! Also offered in the community by Dr. Carrie ND - herbal walks, and workshops to create tea and tincture blends.
Acupuncture is wonderful for balancing, digestive health, fertility, pain, energy, and optimal wellness. I am trained in the classical 5 element theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine, so we always treat YOU, not your ailment.
Hormonal imbalances can be physically and emotionally upsetting! PMS, acne, peri-menopause, irregular cycles, irritability, vaginal dryness,... We can assess if bio-identical hormones are indicated for you! They are always prescribed following the rule of minimal dose for symptom relief!
Homeopathy can be prescribed as homeopathic drainage remedies or as a single remedy. They work with you body's equilibrium and perspective to aid the return of health and balance.
Dr. Carrie ND has extra training to thoroughly assess your thyroid function, and provide treatment options that are different from your MD, that may include herbal remedies, mineral supplementation, natural desiccated thyroid, or T3/T4 therapy. Your TSH may be "within reference range", and you may be on Synthroid, but if you feel "hypo", we may be able to help!
